    With their intriguing shape and distinctive handcrafted look, these Turquoise Cereal Bowls are also great for soups and salads. Part of the Turquoise Collection, each earthenware bowl has an irregular round shape with colors varying from sea green to sky blue. A crackled glaze gives them an antique look. The coloring and crackle on mine make them look almost delicate but they are sturdy. My color is a light seafoam green and the bottom fifth on the bowls is the natural pottery type finish. I bought 2 4-piece sets so I could have service for eight. They are very well priced and not the average run-of-the mill, boring dish set.

When the bowls finally arrived. 3 out of the 4 bowls were shattered. This package missed the FRAGILE stamp! The only bowl in tact was beautiful and just the right size for cereal/salad. I returned them to the local store in hopes to find some in store but no such luck. I will keep looking as I do not want to take the chance again of recieving broken merchandise.
